First nights out and first nights in

So the bus is pretty much ready for small trips, electricity is on and there is plenty of storage for clothes, kitchen stuff, ...  but there are still some important things missing, like the fridge (I´ve lost the cable and it seems like there is no shop where I can get one), but I´m sure that we will fix these things. Also we lowered the bed about 10cm, this means less space beneath it, but a way more comfortable sitting inside the bus for shitty weather days.

Finding the right spot to spend the day and to spend the night is a very difficult thing, even for short trips like we were doing the last weekend. It really depends on your needs. We prefer being in the wilderness but still near to spots like toilets.

Starting the adventure

It´s been about 2 weeks now we are building the interior of the bus and to make it perfect for other trips we do small trips every weekend.

This shows us what to change and what parts are missing, but it also gives us a great overview of what it takes to live in a van.

Also it´s great to explore the nearby nature spots as we are not really that kind of people which go out and get packed by the desire to hike.
